One of the best and greatest blessings of living life on the road is that (so far), no matter where we have been, we have been able to meet up with someone from our past who has now moved on from our childhood homes. It brings such joy to have “family” all across the country and really fills that void we feel when we are away from our own families for a long time.
This time was no different as we headed from Coeur d’Alene to Seattle to pick up my girl friend for a ten day road trip. We were able to stop in Eastern Washington to visit the Greene’s for a couple of days. They were Jordan’s neighbors in Fallbrook and very close family friends. Jordan worked for them when he was right out of high school and also went on one of his trips to Africa with Don. They are some of the most hospitable, giving, and loving families we know. It was such a gift to be able to spend time with them and check out their new life up north. Just what we needed before we continued on the road.
Thank you Greene’s for being you, for all your gifts and your driveway for a couple of days. We hope to see you soon!
