As we were winding down in Great Falls, we heard from Kyle Craw that he was also in Montana at the Craw compound where we went last summer. We didn’t hesitate a second to see if we could come visit. All of the aunts and uncles all have “cabins” up there so it’s just a giant reunion every time! And so much fun. It is quite the detour from our original plan but that’s the whole fun of having no schedule! You can go wherever you want, whenever you want!!!!
So we sadly said goodbye to the Stalzers… It’s never easy leaving their house. It’s hard to find people with the same interests and passions. But as Jordan always says, “the show must go on.” So we made the four hour drive to Thompson Falls and got there around midnight.
The next morning the boys went fishing, then golfing before we had an amazing dinner to celebrate some anniversaries. What an awesome thing to be a part of!!!! The night was full of Rumminkub (the Craws are champions at this game), margaritas and whole lot of laughter. In fact I don’t think I stopped laughing the whole four hours we were there!
On Sunday morning we all laid low we watched our Chargers And then the boys went fishing again before dinner. The evening was filled with great conversations, more Rummikub and the lunar eclipse!
Monday we woke up and got all the chores done to winterize the cabins before everyone took off. We said our goodbyes and thank you a for the hospitality and wonderful weekend before we headed out to find some Salmon! It’s a little bit out of the way but we have to at least try…. When can you ever find salmon in Montana?!?
